In early 2018, the Myanmar Furniture Industries Association (MFIA) applied to join CAFA. After meeting research, MFIA officially became a new member. At the meeting, Mr. Kyaw Kyaw Win, Chairman of MFIA, said that MFIA is an honored to join CAFA and hopes to establish more contacts and exchanges with members of various regions to promote the development of furniture industry in Myanmar. As a furniture federation in Asia, CAFA hopes that more furniture associations in Asian countries can join in and promote multi-party cooperation and cooperation for common prosperity and development.

Representatives discussed the local characteristics of different regions under different policies and environmental influences. Some members proposed that under the promotion of the “One Belt, One Road” policy in China, some surrounding countries and regions have realized the convenience brought about by them. They believe that as the policy continues to deepen, it will bring more opportunities for learning exchanges and expanding markets for the furniture industry along the region. At the same time, they hoped that the China National Furniture Association will continue to lead the CAFA’s work in the future. All members will actively support and promote the development of CAFA so that CAFA will continue to grow and develop, enhance cohesion and influence, and play a greater role in enhancing the furniture industry in all regions.
